Resiliency and Wired for Goodness
Fundamental aspects in life such as family, friendship, and love have tremendous strength and been embedded in us as humans. We have learned to endure difficult periods, which have also shaped in how we have evolved over time.
Given the ups and downs of the past year, it is especially important to see how such resilient traits can be understood and used to provide hope. The Resilience Team would like to share a piece by Nicholas Christakis from the One Being Project. Dr. Christakis runs the Human Nature Lab at Yale and offers insight into our nature as hopeful and loving beings who can support one another through hardships. Please see the link below!
We would love to hear from you as well! Please share any thoughts related to the piece as well as how such aspects have impacted the past year for you.
