Virtual Training for Parents and Caregivers on Children’s Mental Health
March 22, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) would like to invite you to attend a virtual training for parents and caregivers on children’s mental health from 6:00-7:15 pm EST on Wednesday, March 22.
The training aims to provide parents and caregivers with the information and resources to recognize, manage, and support their children’s mental health needs. We know that parents and caregivers play a vital role and want to provide you all with the tools and skills needed to support your children.
ACF and SAMHSA are engaged in several efforts to improve behavioral health (mental health and substance use) for children, youth, and families. Our agencies are committed to continuously engaging with families and communities to ensure we provide timely and relevant information that meets your needs. We have engaged and learned from several parents and caregivers about the kind of behavioral health resources that would be helpful for them and their peers. We have used the shared expertise and suggestions to inform the development of this webinar training. We hope you will attend and share information about this event with others!
